On your arrival

When you first arrive at the clinic our receptionist will be waiting to greet you with our new patient form that may take 5 minutes to fill in. This paperwork provides us with your health history and contact details.

Your chiropractor will then personally come and collect you from our reception and take you to one of our private clinical rooms.

History and Examination

We take a case history which allows us to discuss and understand your injuries and health concerns with you during the consultation.

This initial visit is designed for your chiropractor to get to know more about you, your condition and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

After your consultation, your chiropractor will perform a complete chiropractic examination on your body, testing your flexibility and motion, as well as standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests.

During this time we may want to look at your spine, ladies are advised to wear loose fitting gym trousers or shorts and a vest top, we do have clinical gowns for comfort aswell. If you do not wish to undress thats absolutely fine. Men may be asked to undress down to shorts (please bring shorts with you).

All patients are advised to wear loose fitting clothes such as jogging bottoms and t-shirts; again for the patient’s comfort.

Report of Findings

During the hour's session, your chiropractor will talk you through what they have found during the examination process and will answer any questions including:

How can you help me?

How long will it take to recover?

How often do I need to come in?

What will my treatment cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your injury, your chiropractor will discuss recommendations and talk with you a tailored treatment program for your needs.

Treatment and Your Next Visit

Once your Chiropractor has diagnosed you, you will receive treatment on the day of your appointment, if necessary.

The start of getting you getting back to your normal self!

This may include massage manipulation, mobilisations, ultrasound, strapping and acupuncture to your injured area.

Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime. Remember you are in charge of your body and if you’re not comfortable with the treatment techniques please let us know.

Your chiropractor will talk you through the time frame to when you may next need another appointment, they may give you some stretches aswell as some advice about how to make you more comfortable.

Our receptionists will then help you book your next appointment. We advise that if you need 4+ sessions you book in advance to assure you get your preferred treatment times, such as after work or Saturday mornings.
